Amiantit opens precast concrete plant in Rusayl

Amiantit Oman Concrete Products LLC has inaugurated its new manufacturing facility for engineered precast concrete products at Rusayl Industrial Estate in Muscat.

The inauguration event was attended by H E Dr Omar Zawawi, Sheikh Suhail Salim Bahwan, Sheikh Mohammed Saud Bahwan, Brig (retd) Waleed Zawawi, Sheikh Ahmed Suhail Bahwan, Amal Suhail Bahwan, PAEW chairman H E Muhammad bin Abdullah al Mahrooqi, Haya Water CEO Eng Hussain Hassan Ali Abdul Hussain and Oman Arab Bank CEO Abdul Kader Askalan, among others.

Tender Board chief visits new Amiantit Oman facility

Muscat - The chairman of the Tender Board, Dr Rasheed al Huraibi, visited recently the newly built manufacturing facility of Amiantit Oman Concrete Products. Amiantit Oman - a joint venture of Omzest, Sheikh Suhail Bahwan Group and Sheikh Saud Salim Bahwan Group - had inaugurated its new facility at the Rusayl industrial area a few months ago. The facility manufactures, among other things, pre-stressed steel cylinder pipes, precast box culverts, precast concrete manholes and reinforced concrete jacking pipes, a press release said.

Amiantit celebrates 40th anniversary at new plant

Muscat - Amiantit Oman organised a special event, marking its 40th anniversary in the region at its recently commissioned fully automated plant, AOCP, for engineered concrete products and solutions. The event, hosted in Rusayl, celebrated four decades of the Oman's largest infrastructure product manufacturer's contribution in shaping and building the nation.
